The Gandi cushion, which is softly filled with cotton and coconut fibres, creates a real holiday feeling at home, just like on the beach. It is hand-knotted from durable raffia and is complemented by beautiful fringes. The insert can be removed using a zip on the back.

Gandi gets its strong black color from the use of natural dark color pigments . This creates a great contrast, especially when combined with naturally light pillows. Adding a pillow to a room is the easiest way to complete the interior style and create a cozy atmosphere.

Bast (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppes and forests of Southeast Asia. The plant renews its leaves about every two years and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by people, dried in the sun for a few days to weeks and made into basketry depending on the desired degree of tanning. The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material somewhat more expensive than other plant fibers. While it is hardly known in Europe, the material has proven itself among the population in Southeast Asia in the form of all kinds of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft but robust texture.
