Loka is a round carpet made of finely woven, extremely robust seagrass fibers. The natural color radiates a warmth that enhances any room. The material massages your feet a little with every step and gives them a little boost of energy, especially when you get up in the morning.

The carpet is therefore particularly suitable as a bedside rug in the bedroom, but can also enrich the living environment in the living room or hallway as a visual eye-catcher in the room. Loka is available in two different sizes and has a simple look without fringes.

What basket makers commonly refer to as “seaweed” is not actually an (under)water plant, but rather a small, palm-like plant that is common on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of plants often cultivated by humans are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

This rug is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
