This compact lampshade made from intricately woven rattan is a handcrafted work of art for your home. With its elongated, narrow shape, it gives a special aesthetic, especially to small rooms or corners, without appearing bulky.

The criss-cross braided pattern gives it a timeless beauty that makes it an absolute eye-catcher. Because the rattan is woven into a sturdy metal frame, these rattan lampshades retain their uniform shape over the long term.

Please note that cables and bulbs are not included in the scope of delivery.

SOEJI products are artfully crafted unique pieces. Due to hand manufacturing and natural material variations, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape.

Main material: rattan

Rattan palms tend to grow in large quantities in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants because they take up space from other plants and drain many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and, after the drying process, can be used as material for furniture and baskets. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundant material.

Other material: metal frame

This lamp is handmade in Bali, Indonesia.
When selecting local producers, Soeji attaches great importance to fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories where they source their goods, they only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process causes hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. Soeji ensures all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
