The side tables are made from plant fibers, giving them a wonderfully natural smell and feel.

Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants because they take up space from other plants and deplete many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without chemical additives, require regular trimming and, after drying, can be used for furniture and baskets. This makes rattan a highly sustainable material that is abundantly available.
