In this unique book , extraordinary women with Iranian roots talk about their origins, their values and their search for freedom. The feminist revolution under the motto Woman, Life, Freedom in Iran has generated solidarity around the world since autumn 2022 and these women have become a symbol of the struggle for a self-determined life in dignity.

This book combines attitude, style and political momentum into a unique combination. Readers are immersed in the world of strength, beauty and love of life . It is a tribute to the power of female creation , free living and the polished public word.

The project was initiated by the German-Iranian fashion designer Leyla Piedayesh from Berlin, who, together with the author Stefanie von Wietersheim and the photographer Neda Rajabi, wants to show the life stories of Iranian women in Germany - as a signal of the desire for freedom of women in Iran and beyond its borders.
