Vases made of woven natural materials, like our large Sakra vase, not only shine as a decorative element, but also as a practical furnishing item. They are the perfect counterpart to dried flowers or palm fronds, but with a suitable, waterproof inner container, green plants can also find their place here.

Sakra is characterized by its special weave: stable, thick strands of untreated brown banana fiber are connected to a hand-knotted network of fine bast fibers and formed into a bulbous vase shape. The plant pot gives your living space a natural and charming touch and creates an incomparable ambience. With its impressive height of 56 cm, it will certainly become one of the most eye-catching highlights in your home.

Main material: banana fiber

The vases are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully like nature.

Banana fiber is the fibers of the layered trunks of agricultural banana trees. The intense brown color occurs naturally when the fibers are dried in the sun for about a week. The individual strips are then rolled into the characteristic, approximately 6 mm thick strands. Only old, dying banana trees are used for this material. This gives these plants a second life as a dimensionally stable and robust raw material for many handmade baskets and home accessories.
